Our Service
POS Hub acts as an online portal connecting consumers with listed food
providers ("Takeaways"). The legal contract for food purchase and
delivery is between you and the Takeaway; POS Hub is an agent only.
Contract Formation
After you place an order, you'll receive an acknowledgement (via email
or webpage). This is not confirmation of acceptance.
The contract is formed only when POS Hub sends confirmation (via SMS,
email, or digital notification) that your order has been dispatched.
Only dispatched items form part of the contract.
Pricing and Availability
-
All orders depend on availability and price confirmation. Dispatch
times may vary due to availability or force majeure.
-
Orders must be placed by users aged 18+, using a valid debit/credit
card issued by an acceptable bank. POS Hub reserves the right to
refuse orders.
-
If pricing errors are found post-order, POS Hub will notify you and
offer the correct price or cancel the order. If contact cannot be
made, the order will be treated as canceled. Prepaid cheques are not
eligible for refunds. Delivery costs are additional and disclosed at
checkout.
-
A fixed Marketplace Fee may apply and will be
clearly displayed during checkout.
How to Place an Order
-
Check Takeaway opening hours—they may not accept orders outside
those.
- Select items and use "Add to Basket".
- Review items in "View Basket".
-
Proceed to checkout and enter delivery and payment details. Review
your order before submission.
- Click "Place My Order".
- A confirmation email means your order has been accepted.
-
Dispatch confirmation (via email/SMS/website) signifies contract
formation.
-
For mistakes, contact POS Hub Customer Support immediately at 01782
444 282, but note Takeaways may not accept changes if processing has
started.
Payment
Card payments are processed via providers like My Pay Ltd t/a Datman
or Adyen UK. Charges may appear as "Foodhub", "My Pay", "Datman", or

Upon order placement, a card authorization is performed, and your card
is charged. Payment constitutes complete settlement for listed goods.
If a Takeaway rejects your order, POS Hub will notify you and initiate
a refund via email/SMS/notification.
Delivery Estimates
Delivery times are estimates only. Actual delivery is at the
Takeaway's responsibility. POS Hub is not liable for delays or delivery
failures.
Refunds & Chargebacks
Datman manages complaints, refunds, and chargebacks. For disputed
charges (showing as Foodhub, My Pay, Datman, or Takeaway.je), contact
Datman at:
Order Cancellation & Amendments
Once confirmed and paid, orders cannot be canceled or refunded
directly. Contact Customer Support immediately; POS Hub will attempt to
assist by liaising with the Takeaway but cannot guarantee success.
Feedback
Dissatisfied with your order? Leave feedback on the Takeaway's profile
via the POS Hub website or app. POS Hub may moderate and remove feedback
deemed offensive or biased.
Compensation
Contact the Takeaway directly if you wish to seek compensation for
poor quality or service. If unresolved within 48 hours of your order,
contact POS Hub Customer Support at 01782 444 282 for
assistance. POS Hub may help mediate or facilitate a refund, but cannot

discretion and without notice.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remainder
remains valid and in force.
